If I had seven grand to burn (so to speak), I'd probably order a brand new D3 and some decent glass to go with it (and then go crazy waiting 4-6 months for it all to arrive).
These guys chose a slightly different path. They decided to build a life-size X-wing, launch it and hope for the best.
Now, why didn't I think of that?
Because I'm not a GENIUS like these guys!
