At Self Portrait Challenge, we're continuing to explore 'Alternative Camera' as our challenge theme for the month of September.
This is from a simple (though very dirty) flatbed color scanner.
I read about (and tried) techniques involving a cardboard box (for darkness) and magnifying glass (for the lens) to make this type of shot. That wasn't working for me, so I cast those items aside and got this.
